Football, Football, Football

Daxton has been dying to play football. We finally signed him up for flag football and he has loved it. He really wants to play tackle next year when he is old enough. We are not sure about that, but we all loved flag football. The best part is that it doesn't conflict with Saturday college football games. Dax had a great coach and a fun team to watch. He scored a touchdown in every game except for one. He had a chance to play offense and defense in every game. The last game we finally told him we would pay him a quarter for every flag he pulled. We should have started that at the beginning of the season. He used most of the money that he earned from soccer to buy football receiver gloves. He loves to tell his football stories. He must get that from Grandpa Korth, because most of them are made up. Just ask him about the football practice where he was attacked by birds who dug their talons into him.

Dax on his way for the touchdown.

The video is of Dax scoring on a two point conversion. About midway through the season, he learned how to cut back across the field.
Sorry the video is so bad, it was taken with my regular camera.

  1. I'm glad I finally made it to Daxton's game. I think he has a future at this game. I think I will call him Harvey Junior. It is our imaginations that keeps the world sane for us. The word I have to type is flaner. At first sight one would mispronounce this word. It's pronounciation will be apparent when I give the definition. This is a person who is adept at making the mexican dessert called Flan. Pronounced flahn. Used in a sentence, "He is such a great flaner. Handsome ,too"
